Privacy Policy

Aha helps you think through decisions. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
The short version: we collect what's needed to answer your questions and run your subscription — nothing is sold to advertisers, and you can delete everything at any time from Settings.
What we collect
- What you share with Aha — the text, voice, or photos you use to describe a dilemma, and the answers you choose while going through a decision.
- Profile details (optional) — name, city or country, and occupation, if you choose to add them. All optional, all editable and deletable at any time.
- Decision history — if you're subscribed, your past decisions are saved so you can revisit them. You can turn this off in Settings ("Remember my conversations"), which also clears what's already stored.
- Account information — if you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifiers Apple provides (and your name, if you choose to share it). If you don't sign in, we use an anonymous device identifier so your one free question still works.
- Subscription status — whether you're subscribed and when it renews. Payment details (card numbers etc.) are handled entirely by Apple; we never see them.
- Basic usage data — how many decisions you've made that day, so we can apply the daily limit fairly.
How your voice and photos are handled
If you speak or attach a photo instead of typing, that audio or image is sent directly to Google's Gemini API to be understood and answered — it is not stored by Aha beyond the time needed to generate your answer, and it is not used to train Google's models under our API agreement with Google.
Who else sees this data
- Google (Firebase / Google Cloud, including the Gemini API) — powers our backend and generates your questions and results. Data is processed in Google's europe-west1 region.
- Apple — handles sign-in and all subscription payments through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your choices
- Turn off "Remember my conversations" in Settings at any time — this also erases what's already been remembered.
- Delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete all my data. This removes your profile, decision history, and account data permanently.
- Contact us (see below) if you'd like a copy of your data or have questions about how it's used.
Children
Aha is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
